1963
Don Custodio Aguilar, founder, ventures into agriculture with banana production and exportation.
1975
Coliman Group begins with mango and papaya production and exportation.
1978
Foundation of the first trading centres of Coliman group in northeastern Mexico, by Don Custodio’s sons.
1990
Coliman Avocados division is created in Michoacan, Mexico.
1995
Coliman Produce trading company is created in California, USA.
1997
First certified avocado exports to the USA.
2000
Coliman Avocados inaugurates the market for Mexico as the first company to export to Asia.
2006
Coliman Plastics division is created to assure our vertical integration.
2007
Third generation family members become involved in the Coliman Group enterprises.
2010
Coliman Avocados grows its own orchards in Jalisco.
2015
Coliman Fresh Cut produces ready to eat products aimed at food service.
2021
Sales office opens in McAllen, Texas.
